As we looked at our route home from St Louis we noticed that Branson, MO was only about 40 miles off course. So I'm writing this in our hotel room in Branson, the Welk Resort. Yes, Mom, I think it was origianlly started by the Lawrence Welk folks. Fyi, one of my best memories of growing up is watching Lawrence Welk with Mom and Dad while she clipped my toe nails after a bath.
We are going to the Jim Stafford show tonight. Should be a lot of fun. :-)

I always think of Grandma and Grandpa when I watch the Lawrence Welk show!
I remember Lawence Welk when I was litte and I loved it. Branson sounds like fun.
