There is not a whole lot for me to tell you about the last couple of days. We have been working our way from Boston toward Chicago where we will catch a flight to Jamaica on the 18th. Since we had about a week to get to the airport we are just meandering and taking our time. There are lots of colored leaves and beautiful farms along the way.
We took this picture on the beach of Lake Erie not far from where the Steam Ship Erie sank on August 14, 1841 killing 249 people. The wind was blowing on the beach when we took the picture and it was cold. Of course I was the goof in shorts. You knew that I would have to work a shipwreck into this blog somehow...
We have had a rule on our trip to not stop at any well known fast food restaurants. In fact we tend to go after places with a local flair. One such place was "5 Guys and a Burger" which has possibly the best cheeseburger ever made. It is a chain but I've never seen one before. If you get a chance find one and have at it. IMHO - these are much better than In-and-Out Burger from California. I just googled the locations and see there is one in Phx and one in Tucson. Go get em kids.
Oh yea, we are in Cleveland tonight!
